Virtual Clinical Supervision for LPC Associates in South Carolina
School Counselor to LPC? You're Not Alone
As a practicing school counselor, LPC, and emerging private practice owner, I understand the unique challenges of balancing school-based work while pursuing clinical licensure. I offer supportive, practical supervision for LPC Associates throughout South Carolina with a special interest in helping school counselors develop confidence as clinicians and prepare for future career opportunities.
Supporting School Counselors and Emerging Clinicians on Their Path to Licensure
Clinical supervision is more than a licensure requirement—it's an opportunity to grow professionally, strengthen clinical skills, and develop confidence as a counselor.
I provide virtual clinical supervision for LPC Associates throughout South Carolina through individual, dyadic, and group supervision formats. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping supervisees develop both clinical competence and professional identity.
As a practicing school counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor-Candidate, I understand the unique challenges many school counselors face while pursuing LPC licensure. Balancing school responsibilities, accruing clinical hours, developing diagnostic skills, and preparing for future career opportunities can feel overwhelming. Supervision provides a space to process these experiences, strengthen clinical decision-making, and build confidence in your work.
In addition to my experience in education, I have previous experience providing counseling services in private practice and facilitating groups. I am currently developing a part-time private practice, allowing me to offer insight into both clinical work and the practical aspects of building a counseling career outside of school settings.

Why Choose someone who specializes in school counseling?
I have been in your shoes. I know that the shift from being a school counselor to an LPC comes with personal and professional growth challenges. As School counselors we are used to working in a system with structures, rules, and expectations. Case management is within a system
that focuses on academic, behavioral, and emotional interventions. Becoming an LPC involves stepping into a more independent, often less structured role, which requires confidence, resilience, and self-awareness. As an LPC supervisor I can help school counselors transition into this new role by providing guidance on managing different types of clients, working with diverse populations, and adapting their counseling style to meet the needs of individuals in a clinical setting. I offer mentorship, encourage self-reflection, and provide the emotional and professional support necessary to manage the pressures of this transition. I know that the work we do is
unique, but the skills we have gained as school counselors can lend well to the needs of individuals seeking counseling services.
